Jolly Josh Website Design: A Fun, Accessible Build for a Wonderful Cause.
We recently completed a project we’re incredibly proud of — the Jolly Josh website design. This Rochdale-based charity supports children with additional needs and their families.
From the beginning, we knew this website had to be more than functional. Jolly Josh already had a strong pirate-themed brand. Therefore, we brought that theme to life online. The result is a fully bespoke, mobile-friendly website that’s fun, colourful, and simple to navigate.
The site includes a heartfelt About section. It shares Joshua’s story, outlines the charity’s mission, and introduces the amazing team behind the scenes. In addition, there’s clear information about facilities and classes, plus a handy monthly timetable.
Supporters can also donate easily using a bold, visible donate button. Meanwhile, the News & Events section helps families and the wider community stay up to date.
One of our favourite features of the Jolly Josh website design is the interactive animation. As users move their mouse, the pirate ship on the desktop footer sails gently across the screen. This small touch adds charm and joy to the browsing experience.
This project was a joy to work on, and we’re delighted to have played a part in helping such a meaningful organisation enhance their online presence.
